BOYS CLUB VOLLEYBALL PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Shakopee Boys High School Volleyball Club was approved by the School Board in December 2017.
The Shakopee Boys Volleyball is a spring sport open to all male students in the Shakopee School District, grades 7-12.
All are welcome to try out. NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! Join us for FREE OPEN GYMS throughout the fall & winter to give it a try!
We are always looking for new athletes that are ready to work hard, do their best, and have fun along the way!

SPORT PHYSICALS
PHYSICALS - NEW THIS YEAR!!!
(JV & Varsity TRYOUT Players ONLY)
EVERY PLAYER TRYING OUT FOR BOYS VOLLEYBALL MUST HAVE a sports physical submitted to the Shakopee Athletic Office to be eligible by March 25 Tryouts.
NOTE: If playing JV2 ONLY, you do NOT need a physical.

2024 is the MSHSL BOYS VOLLEYBALL EMERGING SPORT transition year. MSHSL Eligibility Requirements noted in the document below will apply.
The 2024 Season Registration Form includes the Acknowledgement of the details in this document. Please review prior to or during the registration process.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW!
WHO: 9th -12th Grade Shakopee School District Boys - NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED!
WHAT: Competitive High School Volleyball for Shakopee District BOYS ONLY!
TEAMS: Varsity, JV, & JV2
Varsity and JV teams are tryout teams that travel to other schools and play for a conference title. Practice and Games are 4 Nights per week with some weekend tournaments.
JV2 teams play 10 nights in late April and May - 6 Practices, 4 Game Nights with other schools coming to play in Shakopee. There is one Saturday, away tournament.
WHEN: Season is March 25 - June 13, 2024

REGISTRATION: NEW THIS YEAR!!! - To register, you will need to complete these forms (physicals and eligibility agreement), then register through Shakopee Boys Volleyball online link (available February 2024). Questions about physicals should be directed to Crissy Shoemaker.
COST: Individual fees are shared at the January information meeting.
